Creative Treats is excited to be supporting Gonzalo Will’s Lumentum Speedy Gonzalez team which will be is participating in the Lumentum Tech Challenge  which is part of Scotiabank Charity Challenge as part of Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend on Saturday, May 27th in support of Reach Canada which helps provide equality and justice for people with disabilities.

Creative Treats will be donating lots of creatively-packaged home-made treats to the Speedy Gonzalez team. They will sell these treats at Thursday, May 25th Lumentum company event to raise funds for Reach Canada . Photos and recipes for the delicious treats will be posted in the coming weeks and will include chocolate macaroons, chocolate chip cookies and more.

Creative Treats, a new social enterprise founded by Brenda Wilson, contributed a variety of baked goods for a recent fundraising House Concert. These donations for these delicious home bake items raised $82 which is helping children globally and locally; with funds going towards both Child Play International and First Nations Caring Society of Canada. Recipes will be posted soon for the treats which included Chocolate Chip Cookies, Salted Caramel Chocolate Cookies, Turtle Bars, Maple Almonds, Chocolate Macaroons and Ginger Krinkle Cookies. Boxes featured Stampin’ Up paper. The logo for Creative Treats was created by Olivia Arden.
