Today’s thank you cards were made using Stampin’ Up! paper, cardstock, ink and stamps including Designer Series Paper (DSP) Flowering Foils as well Basic Gray, Smoky Slate and Soft Suede. We are showing a few different colour combinations as well as the difference between matting paper with cardstock both 1/8″ and 1/4″ bigger than the patterned paper and sentiment block.
This card was made using a smoky slate card base along with basic grey cardstock to mat the Flowering Foils Designer Series Paper (DSP) from Stampin’ Up!. The basic grey cardstock is 1/8″ bigger than the 3-3/4″ x 5″ patterned paper.

This card was made using a soft suede base along with basic grey cardstock to mat the Flowering Foils Designer Series Paper (DSP) from Stampin’ Up!. The basic grey cardstock is 1/8″ bigger than the 3-3/4″ x 5″ patterned paper.
You can notice the difference in the look of the card depending on the colours of cardstock that you use to mat your patterned papers. The left card’s base is smoky slate with the patterned paper matted with basic grey. The right-hand card’s base is soft suede (showing darker than it actually is) with the patterned paper matted with smoky slate.
